Cool New Refrigerated Container |
Keeping up with the needs of modern logistics companies, Tonkin Replicas is proud to announce a new refrigerated 40' container. Built to be 1/64 the size of a standard 40' x 8' x 8' 6" container, the new PEM container features many of the same details that have made the existing PEM container popular. Cast as a metal container, detachable from a metal chassis, the refrigerated container features opening doors, an air compressor, and realistic siding.
Both the existing 40' container and new 40' refrigerated container are stackable, making a great set for companies involved in global logistics or the collector looking to build onto their 1:64 scale truck layout, S gauge train collection or display case.

At some point, the majority of global freight is shipped in one of these intermodal units, making them increasing important for both most company supply chains and a great addition to pair with traditional PEM trailers which often share the same freight at some point during the course of a product's journey.
